Data Protection People is a growing data protection and cyber security consultancy, based in Leeds. We provide comprehensive data protection and cyber security services to organisations of all sizes. Our team of experts is passionate about helping our clients navigate the complex landscape of data protection and cyber security, and we are looking for a Data Protection Support Desk Consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities:

- Provide support to clients with data protection and cyber security challenges.
- Handle Data Breaches, DPIAs, international transfers and other data protection-related tasks.
- Work with the support desk team to deliver high-quality support to our clients.
- Ensure that clients receive prompt and accurate advice and assistance.
- Actively contribute to the development of our support desk service offering.
- Provide training and advice to clients on data protection and cyber security.

Requirements:

- Experience in handling data protection challenges is desirable.
- Knowledge of GDPR, DPA 2018, and other relevant data protection laws and regulations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- A degree in a relevant subject is desirable, but not essential.
