Vaibhavi Sabnis Began her professional journey in India after completing her law degree and practicing as a lawyer, gaining experience in legal drafting, client advisory and regulatory matters. Her growing interest in the ethical and regulatory challenges of data protection led her to pursue an MA in Applied Ethics and Governance of Data Privacy at the university of York, followed by the CIPM certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

In 2025, she joined DPP as a Data Protection Support Officer, where she assists organisations in meeting compliance obligations, enhancing governance frameworks, and applying data protection best practices across operations.

Alongside her professional work, Vaibhavi is passionate about the arts. She enjoys painting and singing and has been a state-level gold medallist in drama competitions in India, reflecting her long-standing interest in acting. She also values spending quality time with her family.
