Online DPO Training
We have been providing training services to privacy practitioners across the UK for several years. We were set to launch our first ever certificated DPO Programme back in December 2019 before covid struck. It’s now with immense pleasure that we are able to announce the release of our new offering, which is a public course designed to help equip and develop individuals responsible for data protection with the necessary knowledge and skill. Our mission is to make data protection easy; easy to understand and easy to do. Through our new offering, we aim to provide an immersive and interactive training experience free from distractions and diversions.
The initial course will run from Monday the 24th to Friday the 28th of January 2022 and will be hosted in the heart of Leeds. We’ll have top class trainers providing you with useful resources and course material designed to simplify complex data protection law and give you all the tools you need to be impactful in your future role if as a DPO.
Other than the training, you will also be provided with 3 meals a day and as much tea and coffee as your heart desires. The purpose of hosting our DPO training as a residential course is to develop the participants into a close-knit group of privacy practitioners. Our trainers will be at your disposal throughout the program to support you and ensure you get the most out of it. We’ll even provide light evening entertainment as an opportunity to develop relationships, continue class-based discussions and chew over privacy matters further.
We know from experience that there is a lot to take in and questions may arise after the course has finished which is why we are going to provide access to one of our senior consultants to act as a mentor or soundboard for six-months after the program. The mentor won’t necessarily give you answers to your questions, but they will help you to determine the answers yourself. Teaching you to fish rather than giving you a kipper!
We’ve negotiated a discounted rate at a local hotel for all participants and whilst there is no obligation to stay there, we think it will be valuable to have the group under the same roof.
The cost of the program is £2,500 plus VAT and we can promise you a very enjoyable, engaging, enthusiastic, exciting week of training and development.
We are limiting the numbers for the program to a maximum of 20 so please advise if you wish to book and we will send over a service agreement and follow up with hotel booking details once confirmed.
