We are seeking a Support Services Manager to oversee our Support Desk Team, ensuring exceptional service delivery, high-quality responses, and seamless case management.

Your Role as Support Services Manager

As Support Services Manager, you will be responsible for the management and optimisation of our Support Desk operations, ensuring that businesses receive prompt, expert advice on all aspects of data protection.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the Support Desk & Service Delivery
  • Oversee the smooth operation of all client support requests, ensuring they are acknowledged and resolved within SLA timeframes.
  • Assign support tickets to the appropriate Data Protection Consultants and ensure they are triaged correctly.
  • Monitor and maintain case management systems for accurate and up-to-date tracking of queries and resolutions.
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) reviews to ensure all responses meet professional and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a point of contact for client queries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Leadership & People Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Support Desk Consultants, helping them build their expertise in data protection.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, one-to-one meetings, and training sessions to support career development.
  • Establish progression plans for team members and identify opportunities for professional growth.
  • Ensure ongoing training and mentoring, keeping the team up to date with data protection laws, GDPR changes, and best practices.
Training & Development
  • Develop internal training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Support Desk Consultants.
  • Ensure that all employees involved in support services have access to ongoing professional development.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Data Protection Expertise – A strong understanding of GDPR, PECR, and UK data protection laws.
  • Leadership & Management Experience – Proven ability to lead a team and manage service delivery.
  • Legal & Compliance Knowledge – A background in data protection, law, compliance, or regulatory services (a legal qualification is a plus).
  • Process-Driven Approach – Experience managing case systems, SLAs, and client support operations.
  • Excellent Communication & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to engage with clients, provide clear guidance, and lead a team effectively.
