Dan Crawley

Data Protection Support Officer

Dan is currently in his third year of study at Leeds Trinity University, where he is pursuing a degree in Law. He joined DPP in August 2024 as a member of the SAR (Subject Access Request) team, working part-time alongside his academic commitments.

In April 2025, as part of his university curriculum, Dan was required to complete a 150-hour work placement. He chose to undertake this placement within the DPP office, taking on a more hands-on and involved role. This opportunity allowed him to gain valuable practical experience and further develop his skills in a professional environment.

Following the successful completion of his placement, Dan was offered a part-time position within the Support Desk team, which he has taken on alongside his studies. He is currently working full-time as part of his induction and onboarding process and will return to a part-time schedule once the academic term resumes, balancing both his studies and his responsibilities at DPP.

Outside of his academic and professional life, Dan has a strong interest in sports. He enjoys watching both football and Formula 1, and he actively participates in sports, particularly football and golf.
