Data Protection People has worked closely with the housing sector for several years building up an unparalled understanding of the sector and its data processing. We helped lots of housing associations transition to the GDPR.
We work as data protection officer for several registered social landlords, and provide a range of other services including PCI DSS assessments, ISO27001 remediation and audit work, policy drafting, compiling records of processing activities, supply-chain risk assessment, staff training, data mapping, data breach investigations, surveillance and CCTV audits … the list of work we do in the sector is very lengthy. And of course, our SAR bureau is kept ticking over supporting 50 of our housing clients with tricky subject access requests.
We’ve got a firm footing, good track record, and lots of friends in the social housing sector.
