Katerina Douni

Data Protection Support Officer

Katerina began her academic journey at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where she earned her LLB in Law in 2019. Following graduation, Katerina worked as a trainee lawyer and qualified to the Athens Bar Association in 2021. During her legal career in Greece, she specialised in civil and corporate law, where she handled a variety of cases, including those related to Data Protection Law. Her growing interest in this field led her to pursue an LLM in Data Protection and Intellectual Property at the University of Law in Leeds, which she successfully completed in 2024.

Katarina joined DPP as a Data Protection Support Officer, working at the Support Desk to assist organisations in navigating compliance challenges.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, diving into board games, staying active at the gym, and exploring her creativity through handcrafts.
