Cyber Security – Changes To The Landscape

On this week’s episode of the Data Protection Made Easy Podcast, our hosts, Phillip Brining and David Holmes join our amazing community of Data Protection Practitioners to discuss Cyber Security and recent changes to the landscape, Phil has recently returned from a Cyber Security conference in Milan and wanted to share the insights gained during his experience. New technologies are appearing every day and there are many subsequent threats to privacy emerging.

We are getting close to episode 100 of our podcast and we are extremely proud of the progress we have made over the last two years. Our community has grown from a little under 40 clients to well over 1000 subscribers from a wide range of backgrounds. Our mission is: Data Protection Made Easy, our goal is to make Data Protection easy to understand and easy to do. Our podcast is designed to simplify complex areas of Data Protection Law, our listeners are extremely diverse, whether you have worked in Data Protection for 10 years or you are at the beginning of your journey and looking to get a foot in the door, our community is built for everyone.

We have a great couple of events lined up for the next few weeks, we will be continuing our conversation from today, on next week’s session, the following week we will be joined by Paul Withers, Data Protection Manager from Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council. Paul is an award-winning trainer and will be turning data protection processes on their head while talking about the way in which we expect others to follow our processes. It’s not only set to be one of our most exciting sessions ever, it is also episode number 100 on the podcast!
