During today’s session, our brilliant hosts Oliver Rear and David Holmes were joined by a special guest, Tony Allen, Chief Executive of Age Check Certification Scheme to share an announcement from the Information Commissioner’s Office in relation to the first-ever Certification Scheme Criteria to be approved under Article 42 of UK GDPR.
Tony kicked off the discussion by sharing everything you need to know about the new scheme including the ACCS’s journey to approval, working with the ICO and what the new approval could mean for businesses across the UK.
After speaking to Tony we followed on to discuss the news of the week including the Taliban seizing U.S military biometric devices and the potential risk and repercussions and may come as a result of that.
