If so, this dynamic and versatile full-time role at Data Protection People (DPP) could be your perfect fit. We’re seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Data Protection Consultant & Trainer/Training Content Creator.

In this unique position, you’ll wear two hats:

1. Data Protection Consultant:

  • Provide expert advice and support to clients on data protection compliance, ensuring they meet legal requirements.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering services like audits, training, policy development, and compliance monitoring.
  • Stay current on legal developments and best practices, offering insightful guidance to clients.

2. Trainer/Training Content Creator:

  • Craft engaging and effective training sessions on various data protection topics, delivered in diverse formats.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials, including lesson plans, schemes of work, and interactive resources.
  • Review and update existing training content to ensure its relevance and compliance with current regulations.

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • In-depth knowledge of Data Protection laws and regulations, particularly the UK and EU GDPR.
  • Proven experience delivering engaging training sessions in various settings.
  • Expertise in creating comprehensive and impactful training materials.
  • Solid understanding of key data protection topics like Subject Access Requests, Data Protection Impact Assessments, and Data Security.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients and learners.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle diverse tasks and travel requirements.
